After having moved in to her deceased Aunt Mattie's cottage, Kate McKnight is forced on a journey that she had no idea she would take with her new neighbor Laird Jamie McAndrew.
Jamie has known of the journey for some time and his home will be consumed completely by the Eavesdroppers unless he begins the journey he has dreaded most of his life.
This author did a great job of bring imagery and characters to life. These two characters have great chemistry and the world that was created is beautiful beyond words.
