In November 1983 a series of events were set into motion, as an innocent young girl unknowingly becomes the catalyst for a storm of destruction that will span half the distance around the globe.
Grant Mason will spend nearly thirty years rebuilding his shattered life and body after the savage attack that nearly killed him that night on board the USS Texas in 1983.
The man that stood alone that night battered, beaten but not broken, is now armed with a college degree, a near genius intellect for computers and a burning desire for revenge. He will accept a job halfway across the country to pursue his new career, as well as the four men responsible for his injuries.
One is a high powered attorney in Chicago, another a bakery owner and family man in St. Louis. The third is an underground illegal fighter who thrives on misery, blood and pain, and whose only address is the local county jail.
