VOICES OF THE PASSED
Caleb Armstrong hears voices. Not all the time, but the ones he hears most frequently are his best friend Rick’s and from some of his deceased patients. Caleb is an ER nurse and a veteran of two tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, and lately the voices have been driving him to distraction more than the war ever did. He is reading and studying constantly on PTSD and auditory hallucination phenomenon, but when he meets Charity Sandcastle he realizes that her insight is more profound and valuable than all of his books combined.
Caleb and his best friend Solomon live an easy, simple bachelor’s life in San Diego, but that is all about to change. Someone from Caleb’s past is watching and waiting, and their patience is wearing thin.
Caleb is about to undergo an intense personal transformation, from the man he thought he was to someone he never suspected. He will have to go to great lengths to protect not only he and Solomon, but his new friend Charity, her canine companion Chauncy, as well as his blind sister Gracie.
When he is finally forced to accept the realization of who he truly is, he will gain a true understanding of why the voices keep whispering three simple words-“Save the girl.”
